dc.descriptionEn este artículo no se pretende realizar un análisis profundo sobre el turismo cultural, el objetivo principal es, presentar algunos aspectos diferentes que nos permitan reflexionar sobre esta categoría turística. En primer lugar, se estudiará al patrimonio cultural desde el punto de vista turístico, y luego se abordará la relación entre el turismo cultural y la Globalización, centrándonos en el turismo cultural como factor de desarrollo local. Por último, se presentarán algunas recomendaciones de organizaciones internacionales en el campo del turismo.es
