dc.descriptionAs part of the educational policies aimed at promoting inclusion processes, since 2002 the José Antonio Páez University (UJAP) has been intensively researching Distance Education (EaD), especially in blended learning, as a model of Comprehensive training in the areas of undergraduate, postgraduate, introductory course and extension. Therefore, the purpose of the research is to systematize the experience of the UJAP in EaD, creating a space for reflection of permanent learning. The methodology used was participatory action research, framed in five (5) phases: a. Diagnosis; b. Action planning; c. Taking actions; d. Assessment; and, e. Learning specification. As a result, the UJAP has adopted a pedagogical model based on significant social constructivism and has focused on gradually increasing the number of subjects and courses in blended learning.en
dc.descriptionComo parte de las políticas educativas orientadas a impulsar los procesos de inclusión, desde el 2002 la Universidad José Antonio Páez (UJAP) ha estado investigando intensivamente en la Educación a Distancia (EaD), en especial, en la semipresencialidad, como modelo de formación integral en las áreas de pregrado, postgrado, curso introductorio y extensión. Por ello, el propósito de la investigación es sistematizar la experiencia de la UJAP en EaD, creando un espacio de reflexión de aprendizaje permanente. La metodología empleada fue la investigación acción participante, enmarcada en cinco (5) fases: a. Diagnóstico; b. Planificación de la acción; c. Toma de acciones; d. Evaluación; y, e. Especificación del aprendizaje. Como resultado, la UJAP ha adoptado un modelo pedagógico basado en el constructivismo social significativo y se ha orientado a incrementar gradualmente el número de asignaturas y cursos en forma semipresencial.es
