dc.descriptionUnder the objective of circumventing the limits and scope of the different ways of understanding the role of religion in today's society, and especially, the religious dynamics in Latin American societies, in this article, we turn our eyes to the redefinition of two concepts that appear implicit, but defining the role, the location and the very definition of what religion is. I refer to the concepts of secularization and modernity. Therefore, after describing the conceptual matrix of the secularization paradigm originating in the European and Anglo-Saxon academy, and justifying its incorporation as a reading key that allows the understanding of what was the threshold, the emergence, the development and the mutation of the Argentine Social Debt Program (year 2001 - 2004) of the Argentine Catholic University, we analyzed qualitatively and genealogically the content of some documents and interviews with key informants, to problematize, on the one hand, its relevance, and demonstrate, on the other, because what is called the post-secular paradigm works as a better analytical tool for our object of study.en-US
dc.descriptionBajo el objetivo de sortear los límites y los alcances de las distintas maneras de entender el rol de la religión en la sociedad actual, y en especial, las dinámicas religiosas en las sociedades latinoamericanas, en este artículo, volvemos los ojos a la redefinición de dos conceptos que aparecen implícitos, pero definiendo el rol, la ubicación y la definición misma de lo que es la religión. Me refiero a los conceptos de secularización y modernidad. Por tanto, luego de describir la matriz conceptual del paradigma de la secularización originada en la academia europea y anglosajona, y de justificar su incorporación como clave de lectura que permite la comprensión de lo que fue el umbral, la emergencia, el desarrollo y la mutación del Programa de la Deuda Social Argentina (año 2001 – 2004) de la Universidad Católica Argentina, analizamos cualitativa y genealógicamente el contenido de algunos documentos y de entrevistas a informantes claves, para problematizar, por un lado, la pertinencia del mismo, y demostrar, por otro, porqué lo que se denomina paradigma post secular funciona como una mejor herramienta analítica de nuestro objeto de estudio. es-ES
